Features:

It is a heavy camera, with a sturdy feel when is held in hands. Size is similar to that of the forerunner D80. Improved shutter durability and dust prevention system are additional nice features. LCD is covered not by glass but by polymer. It is comfortable to hold and shooting with this camera in hand is pretty easy. Controls are not much of a problem for those who have a prior experience of shooting with a Nikon DSLR.

Though the video quality is nice, there are certain limitations attached to it like exposure is fixed for the length of the clip, it has monaural sound, one can only focus manually while shooting, and HD clips are capped at 5 minutes because of file-system limitations. Enhanced performance can be noticed easily. For its price, it offers high rate performance with quick speed and excellent photo quality.

Unique Selling Points:

  • High class performance
  • Nice view finder
  • Sturdy body
  • Excellent photo quality
  • Video capture capability

Limitations:

  • Adequate kit lens
  • Poor HDMI output implementation

For its price, this is a very nice camera that odes not only offer still image capture, but is capable of video capture, too. Plus, you will get high quality performance.
