Features:

Touch interface is limited to multimedia and camera menus. This is a slider phone with a nice design. The 3 inches wide display sports WQVGA resolution (432 x 240 pixels). When closed, it looks like a completely touch device as there is not a single button on the front panel. The alpha numeric keypad appears from under the 3” wide screen. Function keys are not nicely spaced, though they are large. Backside is pretty smooth too, bearing the 8MP camera and its LED flash. Camera lens being uncovered makes it unprotected.

The touch controls are limited to few functions, including the new media menu. This menu does not accept any control method else than touch. Also, the only way to control camera menu is by touch. Aino is capable of controlling PS3, too, plus Walkman Player 3 is integrated into it. The camera, wireless connectivity, big screen, touch interface, awesome browser and integrated GPS makes this phone a whole package.

Pros:

  • Touch interface
  • 3” wide display
  • 8MP camera
  • 3G technology and Wireless connectivity
  • GPS with AGPS support
  • Google maps
  • YouTube and Facebook apps

Cons:

  • Touch interface is limited
  • Narrow control buttons
  • Uncovered camera lens

Final Words:

It is not about an SE camera phone or an SE Walkman phone anymore; Aino gives you both in one. Features are not limited to nice camera and great media player, but the wireless connectivity and 3G technology along with touch interface and GPS navigation is more than what we had expected. The change is happily welcome.
