Sony Playstation 3

The famous 20-years old boy George Hotz who is famously known for cracking the Apple’s iPhone has claimed that he has done that thing again with Sony Playstation III. In a blog post of Friday he has announced that after a 5 week effort he has finally managed to run his own software on PS3. The PS3 software has been designed by the company is such a manner that it only plays some digitally assigned software that are approved by the company but according to Hotz saying “I have read/write access to the entire system memory, and [hypervisor] level access to the processor” clearly stating about his action he further said “In other words, I have hacked the PS3”.

This boy has been very famous in such acts because in the past years it has really given a very tough time to the Apple in 2007 by allowing iPhone to access other wireless Networks and run on any of them. This time he has claimed that his actions will let PS3 users to run new unauthorized software on their system and this software could include any of those games which are not officially accessible for the PS2. Hotz is also saying that he hopes to find and publish the decryption keys for this device which will be helpful for other to run unauthorized software on this device.
