Unlimited Music Streaming Service Coming For the HP PCs

This new has brought very exciting news for the HP PC lovers and according to it HP will give a preinstalled music station to 16 of its PCs sold in Europe and this unlimited music streaming service will be owned by Omnifone and a very advance download service will be provided with that and it is expected that this deal will turn Omnifone’s music station into a powerful player in the rapidly increasing music market. It has been notified that the Music Station will allow users to listen to an unlimited number of tracks from a library of more than 6.5m songs only from £8.99 a month.

This new service means that HP is aping the music deal it already has in the US with real networks Rhapsody. Rob Lewis, the Chief Executive of Omnifone while talking in a media briefing discussed about the new deal “As the world’s biggest PC vendor, HP has huge opportunity to create a viable competitor to iTunes due to its scale”. Those people who will buy a laptop with Music Station will be able to enjoy the free trial of 14 days and after that they’ll pay the monthly fee.

According to the official announcement this service will be installed for the following range of computer: Compaq Presario CQ61, CQ71, HP G61, G62, G72, HP Pavilion dm3, dv3, dv6, dv7, dv8, HP Envy 13, HP Envy 15, Presario CQ53, Pavilion HPE-1, p63, s53. So it is really good news for the people who were planning to buy one of these laptops.
